Job summary

Kennesaw State University in Georgia is seeking a Parking Enforcement Coordinator for the evening shift to ensure compliance with campus parking policies and local laws on the Kennesaw and Marietta campuses.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and at least three years in parking, events, transit, operations, or customer service; experience in higher education and parking operations is preferred.

  • Preferred: higher education experience and parking operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operates a License Plate Recognition (LPR) software vehicle.
  • Issues parking citations and applies boots as needed.
  • Educates campus community on parking rules and regulations.
  • Ensures all parking facilities are clean and well maintained.
  • Troubleshoots issues with parking controls.
  • Maintains required daily, weekly, and monthly reports and vehicle inspection forms.
  • Performs facility maintenance and parking event operations.
  • Maintains cleanliness of interior and exterior assigned LPR vehicle.
  • Assists manager with training new employees and coaches the Student Assistant Parking Ambassadors.

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring drivers comply with University parking policies and local laws on the Kennesaw and Marietta campuses. Patrols campus and remote parking facilities for parking compliance and issues driving/parking citations.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

Other Required Qualifications

Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license

Required Experience

Three (3) years relevant work experience in parking, events, transit, operations, or customer service

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience

Previous experience in higher education and parking operations preferred

ABILITIES

Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines

KNOWLEDGE
  • Familiarity with LPR software
  • Knowledge of local and University parking ordinances

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
