Job summary

City of Sunny Isles Beach is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer and supplemental Code Enforcement Officer to enforce County/State parking codes and City regulations within City limits.

The role involves patrolling on foot, bicycle, or vehicle, issuing citations, handling complaints, conducting investigations, and coordinating with other departments. A high school diploma or GED is required, with one year of enforcement experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; one year enforcement/parking or related experience preferred.
• Customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Issue parking citations using hand-held device or ticket book while patrolling City areas.
• Prepare reports and logs; assist with monthly/quarterly data as needed.
• Respond to complaints and conduct investigations for enforcement issues.
• Coordinate with other departments on zoning and codes.
• Prepare case summaries and maintain files and correspondence.
• Attend community meetings as needed; liaise with public and promote customer service.
