Job summary

Metropolis Technologies in City of Miami Beach seeks an Attendant to help manage parking operations and assist customers. You will guide drivers to available spaces, count vehicles, and ensure the lot remains clean and presentable throughout your shift.

The role requires good communication, the ability to read simple instructions, and a neat appearance. You may assist with minor maintenance and report safety concerns to the Facility Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or 1 month related experience or equivalent.
• License: Valid state-issued driver's license with acceptable driving record if driving is required.
• Availability: May require 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends depending on location needs.
• Language: Ability to read and write simple instructions and communicate with customers.
• Mathematical: Basic arithmetic for cash handling.
• Appearance: Neat, clean, and in uniform.
• Physical: Standing/walking, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location and monitor lot occupancy.
• Issue violation warnings for policy violations.
• Provide assistance to customers about parking locations.
• Maintain knowledge of garage layout and local routes.
• Assist with maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
