The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources is seeking a Parks Superintendent II for Lake Waccamaw State Park. You will oversee park operations, safety, interpretive programs, and resource management, with responsibility for staff supervision and budgeting.

You will collaborate with local governments, agencies, and community partners to deliver high-quality educational programs and public services, including emergency response and visitor safety.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation and/or Natural Science or related field.
• Four years of experience in the area of assignment, with supervisory experience.
• Certification as a Law Enforcement Officer is required.
• Demonstrated leadership and program management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage park units and provide public safety services in the park.
• Represent the park and division with local governments, businesses, land conservancies, and the public.
• Coordinate recreation, resource management, and emergency service activities between the park and public safety agencies.
• Plan, direct, and supervise day-to-day park operations and short-range goals.
• Lead recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff; oversee budgets and policies.
