Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is seeking a Customer Service Representative I (Fee Collector - Fluctuating Hours) to support Goliad State Park & Historic Site. The role involves daily clerical tasks, revenue handling, permit sales, and visitor registrations.

Work hours will vary between full-time and part-time based on park operations; the incumbent will assist with records, reports, and customer inquiries while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Graduation from High School or GED.
• One year experience in general clerical, cash handling or customer service.
• Must possess a valid State driver's license.
• Knowledge of general office skills.
• Knowledge of basic math calculations.
• Knowledge of fiscal control policies, public safety and revenue reporting concepts.
• Skill in using MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Skill in effective verbal and written communication.
• Skill in using standard office equipment.
• Skill in general routine office cleaning.
• Skill in providing quality customer service in a courteous and professional manner.
• Skill in basic report writing for completing various daily and weekly reports.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with co-workers and work-related contacts.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service and information to the public for Goliad State Park & Historic Site.
• Assist with daily operations of revenue collection and accounting.
• Handle permit sales, automated registration and visitor reservations.
• Answer telephones and prepare correspondence and reports.
• Perform general cleaning of park headquarters.
• Work under supervision with opportunities to learn procedures and safety rules.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with required reporting.
