Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic Ambassadors at Discovery Cove Orlando to support overnight park quality prep. You will perform pre-opening cleaning tasks, maintain a positive attitude, and ensure readiness for park operations with attention to detail.

Applicants should be 18+, able to work 7pm–6am overnight shifts, and physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Join a dynamic team and enjoy a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform prep duties prior to park opening: cleaning, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, vacuuming, and cleaning of various areas.
• Follow standard operating procedures to deliver a quality product.
• Provide excellent service in an efficient and courteous manner.
• Work in a team environment and interact professionally with colleagues.
• Carry out other duties as assigned based on business need.

What You Get To Do

Working in Overnight Park Quality, you’ll perform a wide variety of prep duties prior to the park opening. Working in a team environment, you will model a positive attitude, a high level of energy and an unyielding commitment to quality. You will:

• Work in a team environment and interact with others in a professional manner
• Perform prep duties prior to park opening that can include: restroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, trash removal/ disposal, vacuuming, office, breakroom and hallway cleaning, store/merchandise area cleaning, cobweb & dust removal/cleaning, laundry, and various projects (including pressure washing, window cleaning, etc.)
• Follow standard operating procedures necessary to perform job functions to serve a quality product
• Provide excellent service in an efficient and courteous manner
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business need

What It Takes To Succeed

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to work overnight shifts varying between 7pm - 6am
• Communicate effectively and professionally with ambassadors and all others conducting business on our properties
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis. Some specific work areas may require heavier lifting
• Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis: bend, kneel, squat, stand, walk, climb, simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks, reach with hands and arms at shoulder level or below, climb and reach with hands and arms above shoulder level
• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights if needed
• Must be able to work indoors and in dimly lit outdoors, in varying Florida weather, to include extreme heat.
• Position will be exposed to cleaning chemicals, fumes, dust, odors and possibly cold/heat temperature extremes
• Work flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Availability with at least one day being a weekend day and available to work holidays
