Sesame Place in Philadelphia is seeking Park Quality Ambassadors to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain a clean, safe environment across the park. You will work with a team, stay energetic, and uphold a high standard of quality in every area of the park.

The role emphasizes positive guest interactions, proactive service, and readiness to handle varied duties while complying with park guidelines and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in a positive, professional manner.

• Perform janitorial tasks including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and restroom care.
• Assist with park preparation tasks such as pressure washing, gum spotting, and leaf blowing.
• Report maintenance concerns to leadership in a timely manner.

What you get to do:

As a Park Quality Ambassador, you’ll ensure an exemplary level of guest service, including engaging with guests and maintaining a clean and safe environment through the park. Working in a team environment, you will model a positive attitude, a high level of energy and an unyielding commitment to quality.

You will:

• Interact with others in a positive, professional manner
• Maintain general cleanliness, organization, and quality of park facilities, including all park areas, and offices buildings
• Janitorial services include trash removal/ disposal, sweeping, mopping, restrooms, storage room cleaning, hard floor/carpet cleaning and sweeping park grounds.
• Park Prep services to include pressure washing, steaming, gum spotting, hosing, leaf blowing, snow removal/disposal, product stocking, special projects, and placement/removal of umbrellas, tables, trash cans, benches, urns, dispensers and patio heaters.
• Report any maintenance concerns to leadership in a timely manner

What else is important:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Ability to initiate conversations with guests
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs
• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift
• Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
• Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals
• Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat and cold temperatures
• Must provide flexible, consistent availability (including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement.
• Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations
• Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs
• Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements within established timelines
