Job summary

Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) seeks a temporary customer service representative to join the Department Information team. The position pays $15.75-$18.50 per hour, with typical hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, for up to nine months in the Denver area.

Primary duties include processing registrations for boats, snowmobiles, and off-highway vehicles, selling park passes and licenses, collecting revenue at a POS, and answering customer questions by phone or in person.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in a customer-service setting (1+ year preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
• Previous experience handling money and working with the public is preferred.
• Ability to work with little supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process boat, snowmobile, and off-highway vehicle registration applications from customers and/or agents using data entry software.
• Sell park passes, permits, fishing licenses, and other licenses.
• Collect revenue and operate a POS system.
• Provide registration and park information to customers over the counter or by phone.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, excluding holidays.
