Job summary

The Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism seeks a Park Specialist to assist in daily maintenance, visitor services, and conservation within state parks. Qualifications

• At least six months of experience in customer service, bookkeeping, retail operations, or a related field.
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Experience with front desk operations and guest services.

Responsibilities

• Receives and confirms room reservations via telephone and processes deposits.
• Greets and registers guests, assigns rooms, and handles check-in.
• Answers inquiries about hotel services, directions, and local attractions.
• Maintains guest accounts and processes transactions.
• Totals and balances cash register and reconciles discrepancies.
