Qualifications

• Six months of experience in customer service, bookkeeping, retail operations, or a related field.
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Ability to prepare ledgers, journals, reports, and correspondence.
• Strong filing and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication on front desk and guest inquiries.
• Proficiency with standard office equipment.
• Familiarity with computer systems and commonly used software.
• Understanding of inventory control and financial recordkeeping.
• Strong customer service principles and best practices.
• Ability to creatively arrange and display merchandise.
• Leadership abilities to coordinate and review staff tasks.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receives and confirms room reservations via telephone and manages front desk operations.
• Mails room confirmations, deposit receipts, and refund forms to guests.
• Greets and registers guests, assigns rooms, and ensures a smooth check-in.
• Answers inquiries and provides information on park services, guest registration, directions, and attractions.
• Maintains guest accounts and posts charges; balances cash register.
• Compiles daily activity and transaction reports.
• May supervise staff and coordinate tasks; assist with inventory and vendor orders.
• Receives, transfers, displays, and promotes merchandise.
• Opens/closes facilities; prepares deposits and daily operational reports.
• Supports events and recreation programs as needed.
