Job summary

Montgomery County, PA seeks a Park Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations at a county park, supervising staff and working with volunteers and friends groups. The role supports region management with budgeting, scheduling and safety, and assists with program planning.

Qualified candidates will have five years of Parks/Recreation experience (one year in supervision) and a bachelor’s degree in Park/Natural Resource Management or related field, plus strong communication and English language

Qualifications

Five years in Parks/Recreation or related field.
At least one year of supervisory experience.
Bachelor's degree in Park Management or related field.
Knowledge of laws, rules, and procedures applicable to this work.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public.
English reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

Manage daily park operations per standards for parks and recreation.
Assist Region Manager with admin tasks, budget, scheduling, payroll and reports.
Supervise grounds and building maintenance staff.
Ensure a safe and enjoyable park experience for visitors.
Coordinate volunteers, friends groups, and partnerships.
