Job summary

The Maintenance Technician II performs labor intensive tasks and carries out routine general and preventative maintenance to City of Conroe parks grounds, equipment, facilities and infrastructure on a daily basis.

The role requires strong knowledge of maintenance practices, the ability to work independently or in a team, and a commitment to safety and high-quality customer service. The position is based in Conroe, Texas, with full-time hours and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years minimum experience.
• Possession of a valid Texas Class C Driver's License or higher, or ability to obtain within six months. Must possess First Aid and CPR certifications or ability to obtain within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine general and preventative maintenance to City of Conroe parks grounds, equipment, facilities and infrastructure on a daily basis.
• Operate a variety of tools, equipment, vehicles and trailers and provide high-quality customer service to internal and external customers.
