Job summary

The City of Broken Arrow is seeking a park maintenance worker to perform a variety of duties in city parks. The role involves ground and trail maintenance, turf work, and facility upkeep at locations including 6000 Parks & Recreation.

Responsibilities include operating a range of equipment, performing irrigation tasks, custodial duties, and assisting with ice and snow removal as needed. A valid Oklahoma driver's license and post-employment education within 12 months are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid class D driver’s license in Oklahoma; pesticide applicator license or pool operator permit is required or alternative within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs park maintenance including ground and trail work, turf maintenance, and facility upkeep.
• Operates small and medium/large equipment such as mowers, tractors, dump trucks, skid loaders, and power hand tools.
• Performs custodial tasks, litter removal, irrigation maintenance, and basic chemical applications as assigned.
