City of Broken Arrow is seeking a street and stormwater maintenance worker to assist in construction, repair, and maintenance of streets and drainage systems. The role involves operating a range of equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safety at work sites.

The position is safety-sensitive and may require drug testing; applicant must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience, with CDL-A preferred or obtainable within a year.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required and minimum 1 year related experience.
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid Class A CDL Driver's License issued by Oklahoma.

Responsabilidades

• Installs warning devices at work sites.
• Pours and finishes concrete; measures and sets forms.
• Repairs and builds storm drain boxes and pipes.
• Operates a snow plow and heavy equipment (excavator, backhoe, front-end loader).
• Performs routine maintenance on trucks and equipment.
• Provides traffic control devices for city emergencies and events.
