Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year related experience.
• Must possess/obtain valid Oklahoma Class D driver’s license.
• Possession of pesticide applicator license or pool operator permit.
• Drug screening and fitness to work physical required.
• Ability to perform heavy work up to 150 pounds; multi-skill landscape tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs ground and trail maintenance: mowing, trimming, debris and litter removal.
• Performs athletic turf and facility maintenance tasks.
• Operates small power equipment (weed eater, chainsaw, blower, edger, auger).
• Operates larger equipment (mower, tractor, dump truck, skid loader, etc.).
• Cleans and maintains shelters, playgrounds, site furnishings, aquatic facilities, and sport courts.
• Performs routine irrigation operation and maintenance tasks.
• Oversees community service workers and assists with ice/snow removal.
• Performs chemical applications as assigned and assists with installation of warning devices at work sites.
• Maintains daily work records and performs other duties as assigned.
