Job summary

City of Broken Arrow is seeking a Street Maintenance Worker to support construction, repair, and maintenance of streets and stormwater systems. You will perform concrete work, repairs, and operate various equipment with a focus on safety and quality output.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to obtain a CDL A if not already held. This is a physically demanding role that requires routine maintenance of vehicles and devices and the ability to work outdoors in varied

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related work experience.
• Valid CDL Class A preferred or required within hiring terms.
• Experience operating heavy street maintenance equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install warning devices at work sites and maintain traffic safety.
• Set forms for concrete and pour/finish concrete surfaces.
• Repair storm drain boxes and pipes as needed.
• Operate a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on trucks and equipment.
• Complete daily duty reports and assist with road closures.
