Job summary

Oklahoma Municipal League, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Parks Maintenance Worker to perform a variety of park maintenance duties at multiple Broken Arrow locations.

This full-time hourly position carries a safety-sensitive designation and requires the ability to operate a range of hand and power tools and equipment. The role demands a HS diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience, with the possibility to obtain required licenses within the first year.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• If no HS diploma/GED at hire, must obtain within 12 months and provide documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ground and trail maintenance: mowing, trimming, seeding/sodding, debris removal, leaf and litter removal.
• Athletic turf maintenance: aeration, topdressing, field painting, natural and synthetic turf care.
• Facility maintenance: care of shelters, playgrounds, site furnishings, aquatic facilities, sport courts.
• Operate small power equipment: weed eater, chainsaw, blower, edger, auger, hand tools.
• Operate medium/large equipment: mower, tractor, dump truck, skid loader, paint machine, stump grinder, woodchipper, aerial lift, sprayer.
• Custodial and litter removal duties.
• Irrigation operation and maintenance tasks.
• Oversee community service workers; assist with safety devices at work sites.
• Perform duties of Crew Leader in their absence.
• Maintain daily work records; perform other duties as assigned.
