Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Maintenance Repairman 2 at Little Pine State Park to perform skilled maintenance across building, mechanical, and outdoor systems. You will ensure safe, reliable operations and contribute to park facilities being safe, functional, and welcoming for visitors.

Responsibilities include carpentry, equipment operation, concrete work, plumbing, electrical repairs, and grounds maintenance at Little Pine State Park and nearby locations.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 or equivalent federal/government title.
• Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance across at least two trades (building, electrical, or mechanical).
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry Work: construct projects, repair structures, replace fixtures, woodwork with hand/power tools.
• Equipment Operation: operate park vehicles, heavy machinery, mowing equipment for landscaping and cleanup.
• Concrete Installation: mix, pour, and finish concrete for foundations and footings.
• Plumbing Tasks: install/repair water lines, fixtures, drains, seasonal systems across park facilities.
• Electrical Repairs: replace wiring, fixtures, panels and related components in buildings/campground areas.
• Grounds Maintenance: maintain turf, trails, plantings, remove hazards and invasive plants.
