Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Human Services is seeking a Maintenance Repairman 2 to help keep facilities safe and dependable. This hands-on position involves plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, grounds maintenance, and equipment care across multiple trades.

Two years as a Maintenance Repairman 1 or four years in building/plant maintenance are required, with a PA Class C license. This is a full-time role with standard daytime hours. Residency requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 or four years in building/plant maintenance with two trades involved.
• Valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License is required.
• PA residency and ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing: cutting, threading pipe and installing fixtures and systems.
• Electrical: measure, cut, bend and install conduit and related equipment.
• Carpentry: rough/finish framing, trim installation, cabinet work.
• Painting: surface prep, mixing paints, interior/exterior finishing.
• Grounds care: lawn work and snow removal.
• Equipment care: inspect/repair HVAC and refrigeration units.
