Job summary

San Bernardino County Special Districts is seeking a Park Maintenance Worker I for the Bloomington Recreation and Park District. This role performs routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of park grounds, facilities, athletic fields, and recreational amenities.

Duties include maintaining electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and irrigation systems, plus concrete, roofing, painting, carpentry, and welding.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience performing building or grounds maintenance.
• Must possess a valid California Class C driver license.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform heavy manual labor outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of park grounds, facilities, athletic fields, and recreational amenities.
• Maintain electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and irrigation systems; perform concrete and asphalt work, roofing, painting, carpentry, and welding; assist with construction, remodeling, landscaping, and shrubbery care.
