Job summary
San Bernardino City Unified School District is seeking a pool maintenance worker to clean, repair, and maintain district swimming pools and related systems. You will operate chemical feed, filtration, and heating systems to ensure safe water quality and daily operations.
Requirements include 1 year of pool maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a California driver’s license with insurance.
Qualifications
- 1 year of paid swimming pool maintenance work experience.
- High school graduation or the equivalent.
- California driver’s license required with automobile liability insurance.
- First Aid/CPR certificates as required by the district.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the District swimming pools and equipment.
- Clean pool bottoms and sides using diving equipment and tools.
- Repair and maintain filtration, heating, and chemical feed systems.
- Monitor pool decks and equipment, ensuring safe operation.
- Log equipment and materials; order supplies as needed.
- Respond to aquatic emergencies and administer first aid.
