Job summary

State of Indiana at Prophetstown State Park seeks a Maintenance Repairperson responsible for aquatic center mechanical operation and the sanitary distribution systems across the property. You will report to the Maintenance Repair Supervisor and apply advanced electrical (3-phase) and plumbing skills to keep facilities running.

A degree is not required, but you should be able to travel, read blueprints, and operate a range of tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and guidelines.
• Capable of using a range of tools and equipment for maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues.
• Maintain service and maintenance records.
• Purchase parts, tools, and supplies per State policy.
• Repair buildings and structures.
• Assist with snow removal.
• Be available for worksite attendance as required.
