Job summary

Waters of Wakarusa in Indiana seeks a Full Time Maintenance Assistant to help maintain safe, comfortable grounds and facilities for residents and staff. You will perform routine and emergency maintenance, monitor safety, and assist in preventive programs under the Director of Maintenance.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, general repairs, site cleaning, and coordinating with other staff to ensure equipment and supplies are available as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and facility systems.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Willingness to work emergency maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and plumbing systems, heating/cooling units, and building fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule and inspections.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Perform repairs on equipment and facilities within scope of expertise.
• Ensure work areas are clean and tools and supplies are properly stored.
