Job summary

Ackermann Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 for our properties in the greater Indianapolis area. You will troubleshoot and repair a broad range of systems, including pools, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances, with on-site supervision and on-call rotation.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in maintenance, EPA I&II certification, and a strong focus on safety, customer service, and teamwork. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a valid driver's license is necessary.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related maintenance experience
• EPA Type I & II certification required
• CPO and CAMT certifications preferred
• Aquatherm system experience preferred
• High attention to detail and team spirit
• Valid driver’s license with insurance

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues across trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, HVAC, painting).
• Schedule unit turnovers with approved contractors.
• Manage inventory for unit turnovers.
• Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance requests.
• Support and execute the property’s preventative maintenance plan.
• Assist in move-in/out inspections and related tasks.
