NBCUniversal’s Universal Studios Hollywood is hiring a Baker to produce a wide variety of baked goods for the Theme Park and catering events. You will work in a fast-paced, guest‑oriented environment, following recipes, sanitation guidelines, and health codes.

The role emphasizes teamwork, precision, and high‑volume production, with opportunities to contribute to memorable guest experiences and event execution.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Previous Culinary Experience Preferred.
• Culinary Degree Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown stations according to USH Production Kitchen guidelines and restock all items as needed throughout shift, while moving through various assignments throughout the shift.
• Prepare product using all methods of baking and pastry preparation using established recipes, portions and methods prescribed by the Company in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean work area, including the washing of pots, pans and other kitchen items and taking out trash while following established safety standards and safe food handling guidelines.
• Understand and demonstrate the proper use of safety food preparation and handling practices and ensure department standards are maintained and safety policies for the Park upheld.
• Promotes and provides extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests; answers questions and offers information in a courteous manner.

• Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests of all ages, following all company guidelines and protocols.
• Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages while maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
• Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues of all ages.
