NBCUniversal’s Universal Studios Hollywood is seeking a Steward to maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring equipment is cleaned and ready for use. You will support smooth kitchen operations while upholding sanitation and safety standards, contributing to a safe, guest-focused environment. Expect to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team with a pay rate of $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Previous Experience as a Steward and/or similar

Responsibilities

• Drain, clean out, and de-lime dish machine.
• Stock cleaning supplies including, but not limited to, paper towel dispensers, J-fill stations, hand soap, and machine chemicals
• Clean loading dock’s; Sweep, mop and wash floors and walls in the kitchen areas.
• Dispose of waste, garbage, and recyclable materials from kitchen area to appropriate receptacles.
• Wash pots and pans, and kitchen utensils by hand or dish washing machine and return cleaned items to the proper storage location.
• Promotes and provides extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests; answers questions and offers information in a courteous manner.
• Understands and demonstrates the proper use of safety practices and ensures department standards are maintained and safety policies for the Park upheld.
• Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests of all ages, following all company guidelines and protocols.
• Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages while maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
• Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues of all ages.
• Perform other duties as assigned
