Job summary

Busch Gardens is seeking a dedicated bakery team member to produce pastries, desserts, and other baked goods for our parks, delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will follow recipes, mix and bake a wide variety of products, operate commercial kitchen equipment, and work with a team to provide outstanding guest service.

Applicants should have culinary arts education, 1–2 years bakery or deli experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and flexible hours; safety and cleanliness are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary arts education.
• 1–2 years bakery production or deli experience.
• Experience in a high-volume bakery environment.
• Energetic, willing to learn and work with minimal supervision.
• Basic knife skills and knowledge of cake decorating.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; strong multi-tasking and time management.
• Flexible hours/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow and measure recipes.
• Mix, scale, and bake a wide variety of products.
• Ensure proper setup and breakdown of equipment.
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment.
• Provide excellent guest service as part of a team.
• Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Maintain safe work habits.
• Communicate professionally with Ambassadors, Vendors and Guests.
