Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Kentucky driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes park facilities daily, including nights and weekends, keeping facilities secure.
• Maintains park grounds: mowing, trimming, planting, and landscaping.
• Cleans and maintains park grounds, restrooms, shelters, buildings, equipment and trash receptacles.
• Removes trash from parks and transports waste to the landfill.
• Prepares athletic fields: dragging, marking, and seasonal upkeep.
• Operates tractors and mowers; performs minor repairs and blade sharpening.
• Performs minor construction and maintenance: fencing, painting, and basic improvements.
• Cleans and maintains the pool area and performs seasonal upkeep.
• Identifies safety hazards and reports or addresses concerns.
• Supports overall park operations as needed.
