Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience working with the public in park operations or related settings.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Must possess a Class C Maryland driver’s license and provide proof.
• Criminal background check and pre-employment physical and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up loose trash and empty trash cans along pathways and pavilions; maintain cleanliness of grills.
• Maintain parkland and facilities using rakes, shovels, brooms, hand tools, and small power tools.
• Assist with turf and field maintenance, tree care, planting, pruning, mulching and weed control.
• Assist with small construction projects (benches, signs) and site repairs.
• Relay field reports and updates to the public; support events with setup and teardown.
