Job summary

Baltimore City Recreation & Parks is hiring Seasonal Maintenance Aides to perform landscaping and general labor in city parks and green spaces. Work involves outdoor tasks, lifting, bending, and operating simple equipment with supervision as required.

Qualifications

• Maryland Class C noncommercial driver’s license required.
• Upload a copy of a valid driver’s license with the application.
• Background check and 6‑month probation may apply.

Responsibilities

• Cleans vacant lots, alleys, parks, medians and debris from parks.
• Mows grass, trims bushes, uses trimmer, plants, mulch and related tasks.
• Cuts tree limbs obstructing signs and property; removes stumps.
• Cleans indoor facilities and removes bulky items and trash from parks.
• Operates simple equipment and assists in maintenance tasks as assigned.
