Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months experience in operating maintenance equipment.
• Must obtain a valid non-commercial pesticide applicator’s license within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors, large mowers, backhoes, dump trucks, front-end loaders and other equipment to maintain parks and public spaces.
• Inspect and perform basic service, preventive maintenance and minor repairs to equipment; fuel, check tires, and report major needs.
• Assist co-workers and support other divisions with events and projects.
