Job summary

Gfoat is seeking a supervisor to manage maintenance and operations of park facilities and properties in Texas, including capital projects to improve parks. The role requires evaluating projects, budgets, and ensuring quality work.

The position includes coordinating with citizens, preparing feasibility studies, and supervising staff to maintain high service levels for park programs and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Completion of a college degree in landscape architecture, park administration, or related field.
• Registered Landscape Architect or able to obtain within one year with additional 3–5 years park maintenance or development experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, organize, and schedule park property and facilities activities to meet service levels.
• Oversee planning, design, and quality control of landscape and construction projects for parks.
• Assist in developing and monitoring operating and capital budgets.
• Estimate costs and prepare specifications for equipment and supplies.
• Select, train, supervise, and evaluate subordinate employees.
• Communicate with citizens to receive input and resolve complaints.
• Prepare feasibility studies and other reports.
• Perform related duties as directed.
