Job summary

The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform a variety of maintenance, repair and operational duties at a park office assigned in New Mexico. You will inspect electrical components, weld components, construct or modify structures, and maintain water control systems, while operating vehicles and vessels as needed.

No specific length of training is required; demonstrate knowledge and abilities in your materials.
Screen Out Elements for WG-05, WG-07 and WG-08 require capable maintenance and dam operation tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repair and operational duties for the park office to which assigned.
Apply standardized methods to maintain and repair equipment.
Inspect circuit breakers and replace defective breakers.
Weld metal components to fabricate or repair equipment.
Construct, install, repair or modify items and structures.
Repair pipes, tiles, joints, faucets and drains.
Dam operation: collect weather readings and regulate outflow.
Operate a variety of vehicles and vessels.
