OBJECTIVE
As a Park Assistant Manager, you play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the park, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient experience for visitors. Your responsibilities include supervising staff, implementing operational procedures, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Park Assistant Managers are the contact between guests and Kids Empire. They are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, resolving complaints, and addressing any questions or comments that guests may have while present at Kids Empire. Must interact with families and children of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Attending to guests as quickly as possible, greeting them accordingly, and making them feel comfortable in the ambiance of the park.
  • Supervise employees to ensure they perform their job duties satisfactorily and achieve production goals.
  • Assist the Park Manager with training, developing, and auditing.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among park staff.
  • Audit schedules and request needed approval from the Park Manager.
  • Open and close the park via keys or a code.
  • Communicate any guest or employee issues to the Park Manager.
  • Operate the check‑in process with liability waivers and guest information using an iPad.
  • Operate the front cash counter, manage cash flow, take payments by cash or card, and provide exact change.
  • Operate billing transactions accurately by verifying amounts displayed on the POS.
  • Organize the refrigerator with drinks, snacks, chips, and ice cream.
  • Check snack inventory, reorder snacks from specified vendors to replenish stock.
  • Walk the floor regularly to monitor safety hazards and ensure guests follow park attendance rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Clean restrooms and sanitize all park structures, tables, chairs, and playground structures.
  • Schedule and coordinate family events and assist events operate efficiently.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, bend, twist constantly.
  • Frequent bilateral hand movements.
  • Good finger dexterity.
  • Must be able to work in noisy environments created by guests, such as children yelling and music.
  • Must tolerate a hectic and busy work environment during peak hours.
  • Must be able to work in a tight structure and be comfortable with heights.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
