Job summary

St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Baltimore, MD, seeks a full-time Coordinator of Religious Education to lead the parish PREP program for children and youth from pre-K to 8th grade.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Religious Education or Theology preferred.
• Experience leading religious education programs is highly valued.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel; social media know-how helpful.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement catechetical instruction and faith formation for children and youth (pre-K through 8th).
• Coordinate registration and re-registration of PREP students.
• Recruit, appoint, and supervise volunteer catechists and staff.
• Maintain inventory and procure textbooks and supplies.
• Schedule Baptism Preparation, First Reconciliation, and First Communion classes.
