Job summary

Archdiocese of Seattle seeks a dedicated Parish Outreach Coordinator to oversee the Holy Innocents Food Pantry, collaborating with the pastor, staff, and Outreach committee. You will recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to staff all pantry shifts and ensure smooth operations.

You will build relationships with local food sources and donors, manage the pantry budget, maintain confidential client records, and represent the pantry at community events while staying current on state and federal

Qualifications

• Experience in food pantry operations preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and clear communication.
• Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and communication.
• Food handler’s certificate required or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers for all pantry shifts.
• Develop relationships with local food outlets and donors to secure donations.
• Oversee pantry budget and donations; liaise with supporters.
• Maintain confidential client database and generate periodic reports.
• Serve as point of contact for pantry communications and community outreach.
• Convene the Parish Outreach Committee and coordinate outreach activities.
