Job summary

Comcap is seeking a full-time Parent Educator for their Parents as Teachers program in Cranston, Rhode Island. This role empowers parents with knowledge about early childhood development and maintains a flexible, hybrid work schedule. Candidates must have a degree related to Human Services or Child Development and at least two years of experience working with children and families. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working with young children and families.
• Early Childhood experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle.
• Provide/maintain all required immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Complete all required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the evidence‑based Parents as Teachers curriculum to empower parents.
• Conduct a minimum of 40 home visits per month.
• Assist in planning and delivery of monthly group connections.
• Complete additional training for professional development.
• Adhere to child abuse and neglect reporting laws.
