Job summary

FedEx Office in Charlotte, NC seeks a team member to coordinate inbound/outbound parcel activities within the center, handling reception, processing, staging and delivery using an electronic tracking system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
• Minimum six months of related experience required (Warehouse and/or Hospitality Experience Preferred).
• Proficient with computer systems and able to learn new software quickly.
• Ability to move 75 pounds unassisted and walk up to 10 miles per shift.
• Ability to pass an OSHA certification for any equipment in center.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all shipping related services and activities.
• Maintain log of all incoming and outgoing parcels and prepare parcels for pickup.
• Utilize proprietary software and equipment to execute necessary job functions.
• Provide customer service and problem solving with limited supervision.
• Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping.
• Operate pallet jacks and other large package handling equipment.
• Follow Equipment Safety and Package Security guidelines.
• Determine appropriate shipping methods and inform customers of products and rates.
• Assist in training of center team members.
• Perform administrative duties including bidding, ordering supplies and inventory control.
