Job summary

RATP Dev USA in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Paratransit Scheduling & Run Optimization specialist to develop, adjust, and maintain efficient transit schedules. You will support service planning, dispatch, road supervision, and scheduling to optimize routes and ensure excellent customer service delivery.

You will analyze ridership, perform run-cuts, prepare operator manifests, and train staff on scheduling systems such as Trapeze, Optibus, and GMV, while ensuring DOT/FTA compliance and safe

Qualifications

• 3+ years of transit operations or scheduling experience.
• Familiarity with scheduling software (e.g., Trapeze, G-Sched, Optibus, GMV).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• CDL license preferred or ability to obtain and maintain; strong knowledge of vehicle operations, DOT/FTA compliance, and public transit systems.

Responsibilities

The Paratransit Operations & Scheduling position plays a critical role within our operations team. This individual is responsible for developing, adjusting, and maintaining efficient transit schedules. The role supports service planning, dispatch, road supervision, and scheduling to optimize routes and ensure excellent customer service delivery.

Scheduling & Run Optimization

• Prepare, adjust, and optimize routes and operator schedules using scheduling software (Ecoland, Trapeze, Optibus).
• Analyze ridership and runtime data to support scheduling efficiency.

Customer Service & Community Involvement

• Respond to and resolve customer complaints; serve as liaison between clients, operators, and the organization.
• Participate in public and community transit initiatives on and off duty.

Administrative & Technical Duties

• Train and support staff on scheduling systems and software tools.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to improve processes and workflow efficiency.

Preferred Education And Experience

• 3+ years of transit operations or scheduling experience
