Job summary

Coventry Public Schools is seeking to hire a 7 hr/day Paraprofessional in the Strive program at Western Elementary School in Coventry, Rhode Island. The role requires a Teacher Assistant Certification and either a Praxis exam or an Associate degree in education. This is a union-contracted 180-day position with compensation according to contract.

Experience with students having emotional/behavioral concerns and CPI certification are preferred. Training will be provided if CPI is not current.

• 1. Prior experience in a comparable position preferred.
• 2. CPI certification; if not currently certified, training will be provided.
