Job summary

De Soto Unified School Dist seeks a Resource Paraprofessional for Mill Valley High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role supports instruction, helps foster a positive learning environment, and assists with student development and behavior management.

The position is classified as part-time, 3.75 hours per day across a 174-day calendar, with a starting wage of $15.75 per hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits are provided through USD 232 and pre-employment requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children, preferred.
• Current Certification of Health, including negative TB test.
• Completion of clear, criminal background check.
• If the building is classified as Title 1, 48 hours of college credit or passing the Title 1 assessment test is required.

Requirements

• All employees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) we can accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
• Must submit pre-employment physical prior to first day of work.
