Job summary

Supplemental Health Care, Inc. is hiring paraprofessionals to support students with special needs in partnering school districts. You will assist with classwork, communication, mobility, and daily routines, working one-on-one or in small groups to help students thrive and succeed.

You will collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement IEP goals in a supportive, inclusive classroom setting, ensuring students feel seen, safe, and valued every day.

Qualifications

• Must have High school diploma or equivalent and either a passing score on the ETS ParaPro Exam or an associate degree or higher; or at least 48 semester hours/72 quarter hours.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children.
• Experience with children with special needs, disabilities, or behavior management is preferred.
• Proficient in standard computer applications and able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork and daily routines.
• Assist with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation as needed.
• Help implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency.

Qualifications:
