Supplemental Health Care, Inc. is hiring paraprofessionals to support teachers in partnering school districts with students who have special needs. You will assist in academic, social, and emotional aspects to help students succeed and feel safe and valued.

Role emphasizes teamwork with teachers, therapists, and staff to implement IEP goals and behavior plans in a supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience working with children.
• Prior experience with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, or behavior management.
• Education options include college credits, degree, or standardized assessment.

School Hours | Monday - Friday | Pay: $19.10 - $20.55 per hour

Every day, you'll play a key role in creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels safe, capable, and valued.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children
• Prior experience working with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, or behavior management

Education (must have one of the following):

• A minimum of 60 hours of college credits, or
• Associate's degree or higher, or
• Passing score on Missouri ParaPro or Paraprofessional Assessment, or
• Completion of Missouri's online Substitute training program
• Supporting students one-one or in small groups with classwork, communication, and daily routines
• Helping implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency
• Assisting students with special needs who may require help with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation
• Creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive
• Teaming up with teachers, therapists, and staff to make school a great place to be
• Willingness to assist with physical or behavioral needs as required
• You’ll be part of a collaborative, caring school community
