Responsibilities

• Perform under the teacher’s supervision and direction in all areas of school activities and instruction.
• Reinforce learning with individual students or small groups as introduced by the teacher.
• Assist with large group activities and practice skill work.
• Develop strategies to reinforce material based on student needs and abilities.
• Guide independent study, enrichment, and remedial work as assigned.
• Assist students with daily living activities and transitions.
• Maintain communication with educators about student information and confidentiality.
• Cover duties of an absent, full-time Paraprofessional when needed.
