Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 48 college credits or an associate degree, or equivalent demonstrated ability.
• Completion of a Teacher Assistant Training Program approved by RI Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instructional strategies and reinforce material based on student needs.
• Supervise students during drills, field trips, and activities.
• Help students with equipment and instructional materials.
• Assist with personal health needs as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional behavior.
• Provide clerical assistance and support to the teacher.
