Job summary

Qualifications

• CPI or Safety Care Training preferred.
• Experience supporting children on the spectrum and following inclusion plans.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in instruction and reinforcement of classroom material.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
• Plan IEPs under supervision and attend IEP meetings.
• Provide clerical support to teachers.
• Supervise students during activities and transitions as needed.

Education
