Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in K-12 settings. You will work one-on-one with students to meet IEP goals, implement behavior support plans, and track progress.

Join a multidisciplinary team, provide personal care as needed, and collaborate with parents to ensure student success and safety in a supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in educational settings with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and track data on behaviors and progress.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management as needed.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and supervise students.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure plan consistency.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
