Job summary

Fulton County Schools is seeking a paraprofessional to support classroom instruction and staff. The role involves assisting with materials, small group work, attendance, and supervising during lunch/recess and bus duty.

Training related to the Dual Immersion Model may be required, with duties assigned by an administrator. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to obtain the Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate; 0–1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass the GACE para assessment or have 60 semester hours/90 quarter hours with C or better; an Associate's Degree or higher is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in preparing educational materials for students.
• Work individually with students and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist with daily routines: distributing/collecting supplies, attendance, grading quizzes as assigned.
• Participate in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
• Help prepare and maintain bulletin boards and learning centers for instruction.
• Complete required training related to the Dual Immersion Model if applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the administrator.
