Crossing Hurdles is seeking a skilled CAD engineer to develop fully-parametric 3D models and robust drawings for mechanical parts and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor. You will update existing models to reflect revised requirements and apply best practices.

You will also apply ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards, ensure DFMA across injection molding and CNC processes, and support AI training with clear design documentation.

Formación

• Experience in parametric modeling for edit-level tasks.
• Expertise in Autodesk Inventor; familiarity with FreeCAD, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360.
• Proficient in GD&T (ASME Y14.5 or equivalent).
• DFM experience across injection molding and CNC machining.
• Experience with reverse engineering workflows (scan-to-CAD, point cloud-to-model).
• Familiar with CAD automation and scripting tools like Python, iLogic, VBA, or NX Open.

Responsabilidades

• Create fully-parametric 3D CAD models of parts and assemblies using Inventor.
• Edit existing models to meet revised requirements and best practices.
• Audit CAD models for conformance to GD&T and manufacturability criteria.
• Create and interpret detailed technical drawings applying ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.
• Ensure robust DFMA considerations across multiple manufacturing processes.
• Support AI training initiatives with clear design documentation.
