Job summary

Local Manufacturer is seeking an experienced CAD Detailer/Designer to transform engineering concepts into detailed manufacturing drawings and BOMs. You will create 3D models in Autodesk Inventor, produce 2D drawings, and manage documentation across ERP/MRP workflows.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Project Management in a fast-paced engineered-to-order environment, supporting continuous improvement and on-time delivery of products to customers.

Qualifications

• Strong Autodesk Inventor experience.
• Strong AutoCAD experience.
• Autodesk Vault experience.
• BOM creation and management experience.
• ERP/MRP logic knowledge and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of CAD modeling and detailing and manufacturing design experience.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
• Develop fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings in both associated drawings as well as 2D drawings.
• Generate and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) as well as packing lists.
• Manage engineering documentation and Product Data using Autodesk Vault.
• Support ERP/MRP integration and manufacturing planning processes.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Project Management teams.
• Support continuous improvement and product development initiatives.
